Lucas says – My neighbour keeps chickens and sometimes when theMother unlocks the front door in the morning, there is an egg in an egg cup waiting for me which my neighbour has left for me. These eggs always taste so yummy xx #animaltales

Chickens are pets I can really get enthusiastic about. Reasonably small, but very very useful. Nothing like proper chicken eggs. Best the cakes were lovely!

Yay – welcome to the world of chicken keeping!
I did have an egg mountain here until I managed to sell a load – but suggestions for eggy recipes I do include: quiche, meringue, cakes, scrambled, and lemon curd.
Or the best way – boiled for breakfast.
Thank you for adding this post to #AnimalTales 🙂

Quiche uses a lot of eggs, plus you can freeze egg whites for later use, such as an angel food cake, which also uses a lot of your whites.
