Further south along the Cambrian Coast from us is the picturesque village of New Quay.  After The Girl had a hospital appointment in Cardigan earlier this month we decided to stop off on the way back for some lunch.  At the beginning of November the place was deserted but we had fabulous sunny weather to greet us. A walk around the harbour.  Such views to be seen. A spot of lunch: fresh local scallops wrapped pancetta fried in a little batter. Fun down on the beach with a yummy ice cream. Right now, I’m at BritMums Live but earlier this week I went for a walk with The Boy in the local woods. The weather has been scorching and the beach was just too darn hot so we took cover under the canopy of the tress. So refreshing and we both benefited from some fresh air. The house has just been so stuffy despite every window and door open.   A rare selfie:   Scattered all around the wood are these fantastic benches.
