We are nearly at that one day each year when you children are supposed to treat you like a queen; Mother’s Day. I consider myself blessed as I have 2 amazing kids who not only treat me like a queen on Mothers Day support me so much every day of the year. They really do so much for me, often with out asking. I know I am blessed to have them in my life.
When it comes to mother’s day I really don’t expect them to treat me, they honestly do enough every other day but having said that a small gift is always very appreciated. This year Baker Day contacted me and asked if I would like to try one of their personalised Mother’s Days Letter Box cakes. I took a look on their website and the choice available was fantastic. there were so many designs to choose from. The Girl took a look and choose this cake which arrived personalised with love from them.
Delivery was made to us next day (orders to be placed by 2pm) and the cake is perfect for posting to loved ones who you will be unable to visit on the day as they fit perfectly through your letter box. The cake come is a lovely metal tin and serves 4/5 people and is perfect served with a cup of tea.
The Girl picked a victoria sponge cake with jam but she could has have chosen chocolate chip or fruit cake. Those with allergies are also catered for as the cakes are available in gluten wheat free and dairy free.
We really enjoyed the cake and know many mothers would love to be treated this year to a slice of cake. You can find more about Baker Days varied range of cakes for all occasions on their Facebook Page and on Twitter.
For the purpose of this review we were gifted a personalised letter box cake. All views are our own.
