Steam train journeys are fun. We love going on them. Even better with the sun out. #CountryKids

It looks fantastic. We were planning to go on a steam railway the day after we climbed Snowdon, but two kids weren’t keen and I was slightly worried about the effect of a two hour steam train journey before a four hour car journey on a little girl with travel sickness, so we didn’t do it. Hopefully we will go back to North Wales again and do it one day.

Stunning views from the train there, I have a feeling I travelled the same line as a child with my parents! A lovely way to enjoy a day out. Thank you for sharing on Country Kids.

So many great steam railways in Wales! Makes a fun day out that my eldest absolutely loves (I have been forced to read him all 68 books in the Thomas the Tank Engine collection) :-0 #countrykids
