What’s On Your Work Desk Wednesday (16 April 2014)

Hello ladies and gent’s of WOYWW.  Today I am bringing you a photo of my craft space yesterday as I am off to the hospital this morning in Aberystwyth and are hoping to spend the afternoon having some fun family time,  Not sure what we are going to do, beach, cliff railway, steam train or shopping but my kids have reliably told me the day will involve KFC.  Leaving over an hour away from any fast food place; KFC, McDonalds, Pizza Hut and the same for Starbucks, Costa, Cafe Nero they really are a treat now.

This photo was taken in our lovely local independent coffee and sandwich bar, Dolly’s.  If you are in Tywyn it is certainly worth a visit with its lovely folding front window and tables on the pavement outside.  Cosy and welcoming inside with padded benches and scatter cushions.

Speaks for itself really.  Pop on over to Julia to see some other crafty spaces.

If you like chocolate have a look at my previous few posts and please come back again this week as I am running a series this week; Chocolate week.  Lots of yummy chcolate recipes.  I can honestly say it has been a real chore testing these all out especially the chocolate and raspberry trifle which is being published this afternoon.  If you are brave enough to try yesterdays receipe I’d love to hear what you think of it.

Linking up with Julia for WOYWW

I always visit my neighbors first. Hey #!
Choco testing- someone has to do it. I try to keep my fiber and food separate!
First time visiting here, so I’ll take a snoop around.

Hmmm chocolate, I am such and addict hehe, so will check out your recipes! I wish I lived away from the fast food shops like you as we have KFC just across the road and McDonald’s just down the road!! So you can imagine what my youngest daughter (12) is like :-). Hope all is well and that the hospital visit was ok. Happy WOYWW and have a wonderful week!

It’s remarkably giving of you and a real undertaking in the experimental depratment – Chocolate wewek will be a great hit C, I know it! Just look at your workdesk, it’s incredibly inspiring – if only that happened every time I considered sitting at a table to do something!

Now that’s the desk for me! Clever of you to find the perfect venue for crocheting. And how brave are you to dedicate a whole week to chocolate! When it come to courage, you must have it in spades 🙂 I’m drooling over the brie and chocolate panina and the choc and raspberry trifle looks incredibly srumptious. But will you have any room left for Easter eggs by the time Sunday arrives? Wishing you a wonderful Easter weekend. Elizabeth x #50

You must have been up in the middle of the night Candace! I wish I could live an hour away from all the junk food crap, but here in America that is never going to happen lol, count yourself lucky! I love your independent coffee shop though, sounds, and look, great. What are you crocheting? Lovely Spring colours.

The word yum comes to mind. What a lovely picture you paint. We’re off to North Wales next week; I am really hoping this lovely weather holds out but since I hale from Blackpool originally I am quite used to wind and rain by the sea if it doesn’t! I hope you had a lovely family day. Please pop over to my blog if you have time. Have a great week. Ela x #83
