Barmouth Beach

Last Saturday the weather here in Wales was fantastic and after I finished work at lunch time we made a mad dash for the 1.28 train up the coast to Barmouth where we spent the afternoon on the beach eating ice creams, playing on the sand and flying a kite.

As usual, somebody got their ice-cream everywhere!

Remembering back to this time last year when we did the same thing.

What is it with boys and ice cream? My son always gets it all over his face too (and at 9 he’s old enough not to!)

Oooh, what lovely photos! Isn’t it great to live just near the beach? We’re the same here, when the sun is shinning and work is done (most times actually even when there’s still work to be done!), we too head off for the beach 🙂 #CountryKids.

Looks like you had a fabulous time. Love that photo of your shoes on the sand – the sand looks all dry and warm.
