Project 365 2015 Week 1

For a long time now I have taken a photograph literately every day of the year but until now I have kept the majority of these to myself and not blogged about them.  This is I am going to try and join in with Project 365 and blog my photos each week.

This week has been a short weekend only includes 2 photos. I intend on publishing my post on a Saturday and sharing Saturday to Fridays photos.

Having read some other Project 365 posts I can see others are giving explanations/background info to their photos.  As I said above this is the first year of joining in and didn’t think to do that.  I can also see people are doing Sunday to Saturday so have added my photo for Saturday.

So here is some commentary on my photos:

1 January – Working on my scrapbook for my 50 x 50 bucket list.  See tab above. In this book I am scrapping my adventures so I will have something to look back on.

IMG_8734.PNG2 January – I’m knitting myself a pair of socks.  This is the rib and first few rows of the first sock.

3 January – Eating the Christmas food that is still in the fridge before it goes off.  We will be snacking on this for a few days to come if the truth be told.

Linking up with The Boy And Me.

    What are you knitting?
Very intrigued by your scrapbook – do you do a page for every day or just for special days? What a great way of keeping memories.

      I’m knitting some socks Sarah.

I’ve been scrap booking for many many years now. This is my 50 x 50 bucket list mini book I’m making as a reminder of all the goals I plan on completing. I keep an album every year than has a double page spread of each week plus an album each year for each kid.

Used to do so much more than I do know which I want to change this year. scrap booking is why I originally started blogging (will be 5 years in March).

Yes like Sarah I’d like to know more about the scrapbook and the knitting. I’m going to do the same as you Saturday to Friday, although this week I have blogged 3 pictures.

Scrapbook is for my 50 x 50 bucket list. The page you can see is when we went for Afternoon Tea in Bath. I’m knitting a pair of lovely warm socks for myself.

Thanks for visiting Rachel. You are brave posting everyday. Will you be blogging them? Think I could cope with posting to Instagram but blogging would be a bit too much for me to keep on top of.

Love the colours of the wool, would match my gloves 🙂

I’m not a natural knitter but self taught. With you tube it really is quite easy to teach yourself. I only two how to knit and purl and I seem to get along just fine.

  11. 4 January, 2015 / 5:48 pm

I too am curious to know what you are making, love the colours, it looks very complicated!

I’ve been taking daily photos for a number of years but never blogging about them. Like you I’d like them to look back over in years to come. Look forward to seeing your posts too.

  13. 4 January, 2015 / 8:44 pm

Love your scrapbook, I try to do that for the kids but can’t keep up. Why is there always cheese left over at Christmas? I took mine to my mums lol

      10 January, 2015 / 7:34 pm

We love so many varieties of cheese I just buy everything at Christmas. There is loads in the fridge everyday of the year to be honest.

Love scrap booking and last year I didn’t do as much as I would have liked to and now have piles of photos to scrap.

  14. 4 January, 2015 / 9:19 pm

What a great scrapbook! I am thinking about learning to knit but then I think about learning a lot of things. #365

Think everyone buys to much and then eats eats eats so not to waste anything.

  17. 10 January, 2015 / 12:30 am

That’s a heck of a cheeseboard, bet it tasted good! And you do the project however you want lovely!

Thanks for linking up to Project 365 and good luck for the forthcoming year.

It was a lovely cheese board. Only thing missing was some of my homemade chili jam. We’ve run out and not had time to make any. Lasted us 3 days though and some of the pate did unfortunately go to waste.
